U-Line
U-Line builds modular refrigeration and ice for the spaces beyond the main kitchen, from a wine captain in a butler's pantry to a clear-ice maker behind a bar or on a patio.
What U-Line makes
U-Line covers undercounter refrigeration and ice in a wide set of widths and configurations. The catalog runs from 15 to 24-inch units and includes refrigerators, wine captains, beverage centers, refrigerator and freezer drawers, combination units, and both clear-cube and crescent ice makers, with outdoor-rated models for covered patios. The line is organized into classes, with the higher classes adding convection cooling, connected controls, and more finish options. Doors are field-reversible and offered panel-ready or in stainless and integrated glass, so a unit adapts to a cabinet run and can hinge either way. Wine captains hold single or dual temperature zones for a serving or storage collection. The breadth of widths and door styles is the point: U-Line aims to fit a purpose-built cold or ice zone into almost any spot in a home.

What sets the ice and cold apart
The feature U-Line is most known for is clear ice. Its dedicated ice makers grow cubes slowly so the water freezes clear and dense rather than cloudy, producing hard cubes that melt slowly and dilute a drink less, the kind of ice a bar program looks for. On the refrigeration side, the upper classes use convection cooling to move air evenly through the cabinet and hold a steady temperature, and the wine captains add dual zones and vibration control to protect bottles. The modular design, with reversible doors and a broad range of widths, lets the same engineering drop into a kitchen, a bar, a pantry, or an outdoor island. Four generations of US-based building stand behind the line.
